One of the main challenges was that we had to hide a large boiler and a lot of pipework, which was done along the tall bank of cabinets. The fitters scribed the internal of the cupboards on site so we could maximise on storage. On the left of this run is another worktop-mounted Beverston cabinet with bi-fold door which also conceals more pipework behind.
Whilst the space initially looked like a relatively simple square, as it is such an old property there were no straight walls, and each wall had a different measurement depending on where you measured from. There were also odd lumps and bumps sticking out here and there and quite low ceilings, which called for a lot of custom-sized cabinetry and also adapting by the fitters on site.
We had previously designed and built a bespoke dressing room for this client which they loved, and so it was lovely they came back to us for the kitchen too; they specifically requested the same team that had installed the bedrooms as they were so happy with the work. (Onecall Solutions).
