Our bespoke classic kitchens provide welcoming spaces for all types of home, from Georgian townhouses and small country cottages to large estates. The traditional kitchen design we offer our customers seamlessly blends sophisticated form with modern, everyday function.
Our craftsmen use traditional techniques and natural materials to provide bespoke kitchen designs that are built to last. We are here to help you realise your vision by sourcing the finest materials and curating a colour palette that adds character and warmth to your classic kitchen design. All of our classic kitchens come with a 10-year product and workmanship guarantee. When your installation is complete, your designer will check that you are happy with the work and schedule a follow-up visit after a year to remedy any minor issues which may have arisen.
Traditional kitchens incorporate stylish elements including traditional kitchen ranges, raised panel cabinetry and crown molding. You can dress the furniture up or down with your choice of accessories, including handles in an array of finishes. Therefore, it’s possible to either add some contemporary touches, or enhance a more traditional look, without having to change any of the cabinets.
Modern kitchens differ from traditional kitchens in their colours, textures and the materials used. While designers mostly use man-made materials such as stainless steel and glass for modern kitchens, a traditional kitchen tends to feature more natural materials including different types of timber, marble and stone. Likewise, modern kitchens are more likely to feature high-shine finishes and either dark or bright colours. Our Crème de la Crème is an example of a modern retro kitchen, with bold colours, glossy surfaces and symmetrical lines. By contrast, classic kitchens feature subtle, neutral and earthy tones.
Traditional kitchen designs are exceptionally versatile and make ideal family kitchens. More modern designs offer a simple, minimalist aesthetic, whereas classic kitchens incorporate more decorative features for a homely, “lived in” feel. Both types of spaces are beautiful, but traditional kitchens have a more timeless appeal. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t give a classic kitchen design some modern touches, from granite sinks and worktops to spotlighting and cutting-edge technology.
