Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Normans and John Lewis of Hungerford all came to Winchester so it must have had something going for it! Without doubt Winchester is one of the most historic and beautiful cities in the UK.
With so much to do and see you won’t be disappointed. Whether it is a walk around the cathedral, eating at one of the many cafes and restaurants, shopping at the numerous independent shops or buying a stunning kitchen at John Lewis of Hungerford, I promise you one visit is not enough.
We look forward to welcoming you to our showroom.
We'd love to share our passion and expertise for planning, designing and managing the change in your kitchen. Drop in to have a chat.
I loved my grandad. He was a huge man with white hair and hands like a pound of sausages. When I saw him I would give him a big hug. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t make my hands meet around his back.
Yet as a cabinet maker those hands were capable of making the most exquisite furniture. In my parents’ house is a breakfast tray with fold down legs. It was made for my grandmother when she was ill and had to remain in bed. It is simple, functional, yet beautiful in its small details and proportions. It is now 85 years old and has picked up many knocks and marks. But those marks only add to its appeal because I know those are the imprints of my family.
I hope my designs embrace everything that tray represents. I hope my customers enjoy their kitchens as I enjoy looking and touching that tray. I hope my grandad is proud of me.
Whilst studying Interior Design, I developed a passion for kitchen planning and from there my 15 year career in kitchen design began. I have been working at John Lewis of Hungerford for just over 4 years and get a huge amount of enjoyment and satisfaction from working with my clients to achieve their dream kitchens.
Every space is unique and I am passionate about interpreting my client’s brief, delivering fantastic customer service and bringing their ideas to life, creating individual kitchens and living spaces to enjoy. I have a real eye for detail and colour and love the challenge that every new project brings.
When I’m not designing kitchens my creativity continues with my love of wandering around art galleries and even trying my hand at putting paint to canvas!
Our Winchester kitchen showroom is open Monday to Saturday, just pop in.
