Working as a Showroom Manager and Sales Designer with John Lewis of Hungerford involves multi-tasking in a retail environment with design flair and technical ability! This broad ability is generously rewarded for successful employees.
As a showroom manager with the company along with looking after a beautiful showroom and liaising with like-minded fellow designers, your days would include meeting interesting clients with individual kitchen wish lists and realistic budgets, motivating your fellow designers and promoting your showroom.
Our showroom managers do need a proven track record in retail growth and genuine experience in customer service based sales, kitchen or similar design, spatial awareness, colour, cooking and general entertaining. You must also be able to confidently and professionally manage clients from the start of their project through to the hand over for filling up their new cupboards with pasta, beans and crockery.
