Working as a kitchen designer with John Lewis of Hungerford is different!
We are constantly thinking of all things kitchen and want our clients to enjoy wonderful meals prepared in practical kitchens that are artistically delightful and comfortable to live with.
As a sales designer with the company, along with looking after a beautiful showroom and liaising with like-minded fellow designers, your days would include meeting interesting clients with individual kitchen wish lists and realistic budgets.
You would serve the best cup of tea or coffee ever and be able to lead an animated discussion about the Artisan and Shaker kitchens and furniture that we make in Oxfordshire, inspiring and illustrating how we would create the perfect solution for your clients room.
Your objective would be to design and specify a fantastic kitchen to secure sales and perpetual customers loyalty.

Our new sales designers do not need to be conversant in kitchen sales & design as we would love to train you the Artisan way!

We do however insist upon genuine experience in customer service based sales, spatial awareness, colour, cooking and general entertaining (in fact you may be the type of person who hangs out in the kitchen at parties!) and of course being able to confidently and professionally manage clients from the start of their project through to the hand over for filling up their new cupboards with pasta, beans and crockery.
