Beautiful Grey Kitchens

Adding colour to your kitchen needn’t be daunting, and is a great way to add personality and warmth to the room.

If you are looking for a shade that is contemporary and won’t date quickly, then look no further than one of 2014’s most popular kitchen colours: grey.

Our sales and marketing director Kiran Noonan says, "This year grey has proven to be one of the key kitchen colour trends, with the shade set to become even more popular moving into 2015”.

In a modern high-gloss kitchen, such as our Urban range, grey cabinetry can be paired with splash backs in a complementary hue to create a clean, contemporary look.

To ensure you’re truly on trend choose a hybrid grey finish, where the grey is mixed with another colour such as brown or taupe, which retains warmth. We have an array of grey paints to suit every kitchen, such as Birch, Easy Graphite and Stove Grey.

In a traditional kitchen combine grey units with freestanding dressers and larder cupboards or worktables and islands in a matching shade to create a sense of continuity.

Alternatively, complement your kitchen’s existing colour palette using grey accents; combine grey cabinets with wooden worktops for a classic style, or dark gloss units with stark white worktops and splashbacks.
